Help customers recognise the right service
Describe the main jobs in everyday language. If you offer switchboard upgrades, lighting installations or maintenance, explain what each service covers and what details you need before quoting. Only include specialist services you actually provide.
Keep technical explanations useful to the customer. The page should help someone make an enquiry, rather than require them to diagnose an electrical issue themselves.
Show relevant experience
A useful project example explains the type of property, the work completed and anything that made the job more involved. Use photographs with permission and leave out private customer details.
For commercial work, describe the kinds of sites and projects you are equipped to support. For residential work, explain the enquiry and quoting process. Credentials should be accurate and relevant to the services advertised.
Match the enquiry form to the job
Ask for contact details, location, a short description and when the work is needed. Where appropriate, photos can help explain a planned project. Keep a phone option visible for customers who would rather talk.
State your actual contact hours. Do not imply a 24-hour response if that is not how the business operates.
Keep the site useful after launch
We handle hosting, maintenance, updates and support as part of the managed website service. As your work changes, you can send through new services or project information for discussion and updates.
We also help with your Google Business Profile and the basics that help your website get found. For more help, read about marketing for tradies.
What will the website cost
Our website package has a NZ$1,850 setup fee and ongoing service from NZ$149 a month. We agree what’s included and what costs extra before starting. See the website cost guide.
Can the site focus on commercial enquiries
Yes. We can organise the content around your commercial services and relevant experience, while making any residential offering clear. Customers should be able to tell whether you take on their kind of job.
